UK-RAS moves to the University of Manchester

UK-RAS Network Plus, after receiving funding from the EPSRC for another 3 years, has moved to its new Hub at the University of Manchester under a new Chairman, Professor Barry Lennox and a new Executive Committee including Professor Lynne Bianchi (Manchester), Professor Andrew Weightman (Manchester – Co-Lead) Dr Maria Galvez Trigo Cardiff), Dr John Okykan (York) and Professor Yvan Petillot (Herriot-Watt) and Professor Rob Richardson (outgoing Chair – Leeds), and Dr Alan Munro (Director of Operations / Cultural Attaché, Manchester). 

The focus of the next three years will be on Fundamental, low TRL research, Internationalisation of Robotics and Autonomous Systems, and working to enable Early Career Researchers as the future of our Robotics and Autonomous Systems capability. 

We will also be announcing new opportunities for funding and new networking events over the next few months.
