Inspection and repair on the railway

Working on the railway can be remote, exposed and dangerous for people. We will show a robotic inspection and repair system, with observation, measurement and tools, which will help people on the railway to keep safe. The robot can navigate and locate itself, before conducting site inspection. It has situational awareness so that it is safe around people. The robot can inspect the track with a range of sensing, and can also deploy standard industry tools, such as ultrasonics for crack detection. It can perform simple repair jobs in response to the inspection. We will demonstrate the deployment of tools and parts to the railway.
